About Felicia Rose

“Inspirational,” is the clearest way to describe the music of Felicia Rose. Based in the mountains of Pennsylvania, she is captivating audiences everywhere, with her unique blend of alternative rock, soulful ballads, and angelic mystique.

Rhythmically intrigued at a young age, Felicia’s musical aspirations were first centered on dance and choreography. As a young teen, Felicia was diagnosed with a congenital condition and was told that, without surgery, she would lose her ability to dance and walk. Felicia went against medical advice and kept dancing through the pain; at this time she met an incredible musician who became a very special friend. Encouraged to play music and transform pain into passion, her redirected musical energy exploded into song. With guitar, poetry, and a voice that mysteriously appeared like a gift from the heavens, the journey had begun.

Raised in New York until she was 18, Felicia spent her next 15 years living in the Hawaiian Islands. It became clear as she performed that music was her medium, her way of connecting to the Source, and bringing that message through music, to others. Following two successful surgeries, Felicia traveled across North and South America, India, Thailand, and Europe, sharing her gift and developing as an artist. Performing at a vast array of venues from main stage music festivals to intimate spiritual centers, coffeehouses, acoustic clubs, and bookstores. Felicia’s music has a powerful affect on people and many have shared that they have been changed forever.

Felicia’s first 2 albums, “Do You Remember,” and “Critical Mass,” were both recorded in San Rafael, CA at Little Buddha Studios. Critical Mass has received airplay on Philadelphia’s WXPN as well as stations in NYC, Amsterdam, France, Spain, England, and Australia. She also has an improvisational CD entitled “Dhyan” (dee-on), which is a collection of Devotional chants recorded in the Delaware Water Gap at Paradise Studios.

Expect to see Felicia’s next CD in 2006. Titled, “On The Inside,” the CD is a compilation of songs of the deepest spiritual longing and devotion.

Since 1999 Felicia has been living under the guidance of a Spiritual Teacher, studying Sound and Light meditation. This yogic practice is her source of infinite inspiration.
